Pornography as an
African Art Form
By MR. Tracy Charles
Gibson
Many people who
know me well, know I watch Black male Gay pornography. It is an art form to me,
be it not a perfect are form. The type
of pornography I really want to see doesn’t exist yet on the film market, that
I know of.
I have to get a
bit graphic here, so you should be 21 to read further. I want to see a type of
adult film that doesn’t include any spitting, any hitting, any cursing or
showing of any body fluids except perhaps sweat. Taking body fluids in orally
must also be excluded from this type of adult film & the films must have
challenging story lines, expertly written scripts, high production values, as
well as a high level of acting.
I LOVe to see
Black men make LOVe together. It, to me, is a form of high art. But I LOVe to
see Black Gay men treat each other with LOVe, respect, dignity, honor &
decency. Just castigating and rejecting such films as something nasty &
disgusting doesn’t pay homage to the beautiful physical appeal of the human Black
male body. It is that simple to me.
This type of film
watching, to me, lends me an avenue to relax, get excited and release some
levels of stress through masturbation. This is very important in the
high-stress world of Black activism I
live & work in.
The Black male
porn star is usually a beautiful, Black man with a beautiful smile, commanding
physical presence and a superior muscular body build.
To just tune out
Black Gay pornography as if it were wrong is being very traditional in ones’
thinking, very Biblical and very shallow in ones’ thinking. For many decades
pornography -- which is now estimated to be over 50% of
internet transactions -- fills a basic human need for human sexual
interactions. Pornography is sometimes used to spark sexual relations between
consenting adults and helps people relax and end-run stress. The aesthetic values cannot be over stated, especially
when you are talking about Gay, Black male pornography. While some people
choose to see it as corrupt and wrong, I look at it as an art form and as
something freeing, lasting, and a fantastic thing to build the foundation for
the entire Black Men’s Aesthetic movement on.
GOD gave us the human libido & the human need to have
intimacy, sex and close physical contact. It is not something to be ashamed of or blame
on some evil force.
I strongly
suggest Black Gay men join me in advocating for more high quality pornography
such as I have described here. Call me to see what you can do to make the adult
movie industry more responsive to this growing, but largely ignored art
form. The need for it is growing and it
is growing as a market share within the film industry.
