Comments on the Rizzo Statue from Brother Tracy Gibson

August 25th, 2017 Friday -- FROM TRACY GIBSON

I would like to be Chairman of the Arts Commission that is making the important decision about what to do about the Rizzo Statue.
Dear Mr. Mayor:

About the Frank Rizzo Statue!
My suggestion;

Launch the founding of a $20 Million Dollar ``Accurate European History Foundation'' for Philadelphia.  The legacy of Mr. Frank Rizzo could be juxtaposed with the more progressive personality of a person -- to be named by the Commission -- who was more progressive, even radical on racial issues, but White.  This person must also be from South Philadelphia and a person, male or female, from history who made significant contributions to our society.    The statue must be part of the opening exhibit for the Foundation and or New Museum.  (You can use an existing museum for the time being. I strongly suggest a Christian Church in South Philadelphia that is attended by a large White congregation and is rather conservative and traditional in their beliefs.) -- I have no idea who the White conservative leadership you would want are, being that I myself am Black. ) I think this would largely defuse the situation the City finds itself in, due to decisions made by former administrations. Take the Rizzo statue away by cover of night with police escort after you have met with White community member leadership about the proposal and gained their support. Listen to whatever their complaints are and make changes as needed. Then go public, but also meet, first with Black community People and leadership like Attorney Michael X, Sistah Paula Peoples and Minister Rodney Muhammad. Generate their acceptance and have one person with you at any press conference you have as well as one person from the White Community as well. I Am told you will at least read this e-mail, and for this I Am thankful.  Please say hello to my second cousin Ms. Iola Harper who works in your Commerce Department; and Ms. Jovida Hill, who heads the City's Commission on Women and is a good friend.  I Am posting this message on my blog for public consumption. I have placed my resume below.

Dear Ted Turner, T. Boone Pickens ; Bill Gates:

*****I Hope and Pray you are all well and active – enjoying life

and enjoying healthy food and clean water. As you know, I contacted

Mr. Pickens and Mr. Turner and asked each of them to give $500 Million

Dollars for the Free Library of Philadelphia system.  I am adding Mr. Gates

to the new letter, due to His interests in investing in new and

exciting products and new and exciting people who are actively engaged

in helping the world become a much better place for us all. So I’m asking for

$1.5 Billion dollars from the three of you in total. I humbly ask, if

at all possible, that my company get a small finders-fee of $35,000.

for writing this letter and doing the appropriate research.   The

company I would like you to invest in for the $35,000. Is Seventy Five

Cent, LLC. I still have to get all the proper papers filed for this

for-profit company dedicated to my family and solving our problems as

well as helping the Black community, especially locally in

Philadelphia, but elsewhere as well. Some of the $35,000. will be used exactly for the

Purposes of providing advocacy for Black People in need; researching subjects and concerns pertaining to Black poor People; and writing articles and books pertaining to How to help Black youth, especially Black male youth. This is just a microcosm of what I will be able to do, especially if the $35,000. Is not controlled as to How I can spend it. I also need to be able to pay down on my personal debts, buy Real Estate, office space, and office furniture to help my business interests. But enough about me.. .

***** The Free Library of Philadelphia provides an assortment of

services to the public including the very rich and the very poor.

Included:  job placement; business workshops; free time on computers

for the public; books on subjects like engineering, cooking,

advertising, math, not overeating, good health, exercise, fashion,

antique automobiles, healthy intimacy, staying out of legal trouble

for youth, safety and security, ending militarism, and successfully

creating a peace-time economy. How to improve on government and create

more democracy is also examined in books, workshops, and free

lectures at the Free Library of Philadelphia. There are also many local and nationally known authors who visit the free library system, and sell their books, after lecturing.

The Free Library is a Beehive of intellectual activity and the place

to be for a person with a courageous and intelligent mind like mine. I

am a Philadelphia native and a Philadelphia activist and Black

community organizer. One of the issues I’ve been working on is getting

four new branch banks in the Philadelphia area for United Bank – a

local Black Bank.  According to a Black manager at United Bank, they

want new branches in South Philadelphia, West Philadelphia, The Grater

North East and Southwest Philly. I hope the three of you can help me

lift the educational standards and professional levels here in

Philadelphia and provide local businesses with a more educated and

professional work force to pull from.

*****Please call me at my home office if you have any questions.

This letter will be sent as proof of the work I do to raise money for

me and my company. I will provide information about my company with

this letter. I thank you for your support and kind consideration.

 Gratefully True,

 Tracy Charles Gibson
