Attention: Ms Linda Marden

Dear Corporate Heads at The Christian Singles Network:

I hope you are having a good day. I went on your web page and was typically disappointed as a Gay or Same Gender Loving Christian, that there were no categories for men loving men or women loving women. {Let along any Transgendered categories}… This is typical of traditional Christians. You have a natural tendency to put yourselves above everybody else, when this is exactly what Christ Jesus DIDN’T want people to do and is what he never did. You have a tendency to judge people when this is exactly what Christ Jesus DIDN’T want us to do as Christians. Jesus hung out with prostitutes, thieves, liers and the like, but He never judged them. He tried to transform them into better people. If we are REAL Christians this is what we MUST do—NOT JUDGE and bring on exclusivity, hatred and negativity. The homophobia in the Christian Church is due to such judging and I was put here on earth to help expose the hypocrisy and bring on a better day where we can respect and have dignity for ALL PEOPLE. You see, Christianity is about following the teachings of Christ and trying, even though we will most likely fall short, trying to be like Christ.

GOD, I believe, has a special place for people of ALL faiths, religions, races, ages, sexual orientations, classes, genders, gender determinations, income levels, cultures, sexes and so forth. I am a Christian, but also a Polytheist--{which I will explain that later}… If we believe He {GOD} didn’t make a mistake, we have to believe that we should have an open mind and face the outside world with an Open Mind. Not a closed mind of exclusivity that points fingers and divides people. I have a strong faith in Christ. {One time after church we were feeding the Homeless and I was said to be giving the Homeless People in attendance too much food. One of the Ministers said there will never be enough food for the rest of the people if you give out that much food. The funny thing was I was trying very hard to say that I have ``faith’’ that there will be enough food for everybody because I knew the people were hungry and wanted food and needed food. There is talk all throughout the Bible about abundance and faith—how could there possibly not be enough food to give these poor decent souls a large enough portion? } But I held my tongue. As it turned out, I was right, there was food left over and people could have had more on their individual plates. I had actually had more faith than the Pastors who wanted to serve less food and ``ration’’ the amounts. I am NOT stating this for any ego boost or for recognition, but I knew in my heart that this was wrong {not to give the most we can} when there was such need among the people in line to get the food {among the so-called Homeless….} The problem was that I didn’t know how to express my feelings and verbalize my feelings at the time. I was strong in my faith, but I was fearful of being seen as disrespectful or critical of the church and the Pastors, so I held my tongue—I should not have done that... I SHOULD have spoken up. We should ALL speak up and if we are wrong, we will be corrected. It is important to Speak UP!! I have since learned better. {I had a Lesbian friend who helped train me politically and she always wore a button on Her bag or Her shirt that said simply--``Question Authority!!’’ I think, Betty Gains, that was Her name, was talking about ANY and ALL authority. I Capitalize the H when I say Her because She is gone now, but a part of GOD Almighty in the Spirit about Her lives on!! You have a right to question if you feel something is not right or correct in what you are hearing and feeling and seeing each and every day. It is your duty as a Child of God, a Child of Christ, and as a follower of Christ and as a North American to question and challenge what you know is wrong. Wrong among the Church. Wrong among the leadership of our schools and other institutions. Wrong among our Government leadership. {For example how could we have possibly just had a Presidential election and the word ``poor’’ was never, hardly ever spoken or mentioned. To me that is insanity. Everybody talked about the Middle Class. Well, that’s nice, but NOT everybody is in the Middle Class or the Upper Class. There is a growing number of people in our culture and our society who are poor and falling through the cracks that are increasing in size. {If we all work together we can decrease the number and size of the cracks that people are falling through, but we have to all work together. {Ronald Reagan won a first and second term in office by showing the full public that he was not only a racist, but that he didn’t care about those who fell through the cracks. He was proud of scraping the so-called safety net. Still today we make this racist a hero. I question such people as Reagan and the people who Lionize him and followed him—I question such people’s moral and ethical fiber and moral and ethical fortitude…} There are more such cracks in our social network and our social order and our social and economic structure and fiber that need repair and fixing and there seems to be more in the making in the future—unless we take positive and proactive action. This is the 500 pound gorilla that went all the way through the current election for President and Other Offices {of 2012} without a peep. [By the Way our President is Black, as I am, but I didn’t vote for him because he finds a way to support war and lies every day. He is Drone bombing and killing the children and women of Pakistan and Somalia each and every day and spending millions of dollars to do so even as the raw power of our Nation is being curtailed by GOD in favor of more democratic ``people power’’--influences that are bubbling up from the Grass-Roots. Very few in the media have confronted the President on this. As a Christian and a real polytheist I must and do confront him….]

As a Christian you are probably conservative. Christ was NOT a conservative. He was a very radical person and a very radical being and HE wanted people to think differently from their traditional Hebrew beliefs in GOD. I was sent here to do something similar to what Jesus did—to reveal the Truth… To be fair and NOT judge people, but to help people find a New Way—NOT unlike even what it said of the New Day in the Bible. My feeling is that being a so-called ``Christian Conservative’’ is oxymoronic—how can you want things to stay the same—like conservatives do--when things are so wrong and messed up and unequal and unbalanced and when so many people are being hurt and killed the way things are right now? And when so many decent and loving people are asked to do without. Without work, Without jobs. Without needed funds to make it another year. Without the basic things they need as decent God-Fearing and GOD -Loving people. This is illogical, racist, homophobic, unbalanced, unethical and anti-human, and it is creating hatred, havoc, instability and resentment among people throughout the world. . . . It is time for such things to stop and for a New World to be born right NOW. As the rich clutch onto their funds and refuse to invest in cities and people who are starving for jobs, basic nutritious food, clean water, infrastructure improvements, jobs and decent housing—things will have to change in a revolutionary and drastic Way for people—the masses—to get a hold of these basic items that will bring stability and decency throughout the World...and into their lives.. People have a right to these things as decent human beings. You don’t have a right to keep these things from them. As the uneducated, the Homeless, the Black, the Latin, the Poor {and that includes many, many White People}, the incarcerated, the disabled, the females, the homosexuals, the transgendered people, the Arabs and so many other groups have been left out of the decision-making process to a large degree in Our Country, North America, for so long, we end up with a country and a lot of institutions [like the Church] that are NOT sensitive to these people. These folk in reality, end up making a majority of our Nation—even though they are left out. {These ideas are NOT really new and are talked about on TV every day—at least the more honest stations such as MSNBC and Free Speech TV and WURD 900 AM Radio in Philadelphia}… The Church is just another of these insensitive institutions, as I have mentioned. [Anytime there are parts of the Church that don’t allow women to be ordained, discriminates against Gay and Lesbian people, and where young boys and young girls are being molested and sexually abused and physically abused by the Popes, the Bishops, the Pastors, the Reverends, Prelates, and the Pontiffs {Boy that was a lot of P’s} such as the Catholic Church--there is a problem. A REAL problem. A BIG Problem. Something is out of sync, out of kilter, off center, out of whack, mixed up, messes up and just plain old wrong!! If you include the 30 % of White males who usually vote along more Progressive lines, I think you begin to see what a problem the Republicans were having around November 6th, 2012 in North America this year during the election campaign and the results we have. This is why the Republicans LOST!!! Our institutions, including the Church and the many institutions that surround the existence of the Church and profit from that existence {such as your organization the Christian Singles Network} needs a major overhaul. Especially the Southern Church in the U.S. which is notoriously racist, homophobic, hateful and insensitive. You need to stop telling lies. You need to stop living in hypocrisy and boldly discriminating. You need to stop holding yourself above everybody else and telling people you have a direct link to GOD when all you have a direct link to is hatefulness, lies and deceit. The Church { and I’m talking about the Baptist, the Pentecostals, the Mormons, the Muslim Religion, the Jewish Religion, the Seventh Day Adventist and all the rest including the unwholesomeness that is taking place among even traditional indigenous religions in Africa and Asia and Australia and elsewhere in the World that are hateful towards gay, bisexual, transgendered and lesbian people--and they have other issues also} they all need to take a real long and lasting look in the mirror. The religions and the church need to face the fact that they have been and are being un-GODLY and being judgmental and being hateful, discriminatory and being against the true freedom and true equality we say we really value as people living in a democratic system. Living before GOD with fairness, decency, high ethics and good moral standards in very possible for Gay, Lesbian and Transgendered People, but I never hear Christian Pastors say that at all unless they are with gay-friendly churches like the one I attend {The Unity Fellowship Christ Church of Philadelphia}….

I LOVe the Holy Bible, but it is a document that is 2000 plus years old. It is time we realized that the concept of sin itself was and is used to make people conform, through guilt, to certain behaviors instead of thinking positively and proactively for themselves. Thinking for yourself is more powerful…. It requires us to think and open our minds and not hate, but react in positive Ways, peacefully. It is like a great Regal Eagle. Following down the path of a 2000 year old book word for word doesn’t take any smarts or creative thinking. I don’t believe in the concept of sin because it is a ``Take Um Down’’ concept instead of a ``Lift Um Up’’ concept. I have had problems in the past with depression, but thank GOD those days are behind me. But one thing the depression and the economic hardship—which I am just about over with as well—one thing those things have taught me is you learn from difficulty, but you don’t want to go back there. EVER!!! Having a for-heterosexuals-only Christian dating service is an old-has-been concept that needs to be thrown on the ash heap of society along with the crank-up car and Gumby. They had their place in time and history, but that time has passed away forever. So, I invite you to change and join the future and stop thinking in the old past. I am sure I will NOT hear from you, but I’m ALSO sure I’ve made you think….

Footnote: By the Way: Being a Polythiest means you take the very best from ALL the world's religions, even ones you don't read about, understand or know fully about, and as you learn and grow each day, you try to live by those positive aspects of religion and Spirituality. This means such obtuse religions as those practiced by the Ebo Tribe in Africa or the East Indians. I don't know about them, but I incorporate the positive aspects of them into my life because I trust that those thoughts and beliefs will carry me forward in a Positive Way and non-violent Way for my future growth, Spiritually and economically and help me thrive, not just survive. As the concept spreads positive LOVe in a peaceful manner, and helps life and is against War and hatred and discrimination and violence in any form I am generally for such theories and I agree with them. This is why I call myself a Ppolytheist and NOT just a Christian. I first heard of the term Polytheism from radio host Reggie Bryant who worked for WRTI at Temple University in North Philadelphia for quite some time and also worked for WURD Radio, 900 A.M. for quite some time before His untimely death a few years ago. He was a magnificent thinker, writer, filmmaker and artist and a man of many other talents and skills. We in the Progressive and Radical Black community of Philadelphia miss Him ever so much.

Dear Temple Consultant Ms. Pearl Wang:

I have worked very, very hard over an extended period [some 20 years] and I finally felt I had made progress and hit pay dirt when I successfully took the 10-week class at Temple University’s Small Business Development Center [At a cost to me of over $200.00 mind you ]. I successfully finished the class and all I hear from you now is that I need to file back taxes [when I have no income from my business that I know of at this point] and that I need to take out a thousand dollar loan [when what I need is about $50,000.00 to really get my business going]. I am a Strong Black businessman with a Strong Black vision for the revitalization of my community and a strong Progressive vision for the entire city. I think THAT is what disturbs the people like those who actually run this town—the rich money changers who are mostly White and who don’t give a dame about Black people, Our well-being and Our physical, social, political and economic stability and viability. That is why money is so hard to attain and come by in Philadelphia and elsewhere in this not-so-fair Nation of Ours…. I am angry and disgusted, but I’m NOT giving up. Getting money, saving money and properly investing money can be attained through other channels. I will turn such channels on while I keep my cable TV off!!!! If you have any other viable options for me, please let me know now. Otherwise, I think the options you have set forth for me are just more hollywog and bull and will not bet me anywhere. I WILL NOT be taking your advice.

With a Letter for Real Peace, Real Economic Justice and Real Freedom through Continued Economic Struggle for the Oppressed…

Brother Tracy Gibson,

Post Script: I Hope and Pray you will do the right thing and share this letter with your Superiors at that Citadel of a School over their near Broad Street.

Suggested Movie: Black is Black Ain't

Winner of the Film maker's Trophy for the Sun Dance Film Festival around when it came out in 1995--Extraordinarily Talnted Director Marlon T. Riggs [who also happens to be Black and Gay or Same Gender Loving] reached down to New Orleans to the old spicy pots of his grandmother and back with youth on inner city streets to discover just what it means to be a Black person living in North America.  ``Black Is ... Black Ain't ''  features interviews with Black leaders such as Cornell West; Angela Davis and bell hooks to bring forth a richness and flavor that almost matches that of Grandother's gumbo.  Don't miss this one.  Available at the Free Library of Philadelphia [West Philadelphia branch.]

The New Morality...

With the election of what has been touted in the media as a ``LIBERAL'' in Mr. Barack Obama, we have come to think, in some quarters, that anything goes.  There was an attempt to pass pro-marijuana laws in several states; an open Lesbian was elected for the first time to the U.S. Senate; and; there is even talk of having Blacks elected to the Senate in the near future from Southern states--which would be a first since RECONSTRUCTION!!!

This is all well and good [except I am NOT for the ratification of ANY bills that would further legalize marijuana because I feel it is, in today's market, laced with all kinds of illegal, habit-forming drugs and other chemicals that may well be dangerous for human consumption and may well help push users into graduating into other forms of more dangerous drugs.]

I feel electing an open Lesbian to the U.S. Senate is reasonable and in fact a plus for the country, as long as she fully represents all corridors of the community -- and or state from which she was elected.  Ms. Tammy Baldwin was elected as a Democratic candidate from Wisconsin in November of 2012 and has already been sworn into office.  From an Internet CNN source, she said ``I didn't run to make history. I ran to make a difference.'' Advocacy groups have called the Baldwin victory ``a significant stride towards bringing diversity to the Senate'' and many gay, lesbian and transgendered people, including those of color, are very pleased and even amazed at the victory in the Senate which has a national reputation-- in some quarters--as being a Good Old Boy's Network and a place for `` stogy old White men'' to hold court.  The times, they are a changing.

The scuttlebutt about a Black or two winning a seat in the Senate, in the future, from the Deep South, is only talk at this point.  However, there are also people putting their heads together and looking over the numbers.  They are looking at how the Tee Party won Primary Victories and saying ``Hay, wait a minute, those numbers are less than the numbers of Blacks who vote in general elections.  If We can get the numbers of Black voters UP in say, Georgia or Mississippi, we can have a Black person elected as the Democratic candidate and make a real run for the U.S. Senate!!

This is NOT just some Lame Brain idea that only holds hot water in the Summer.  This is real politics  and it doesn't take some racist hokum like the tactic George H. W. Bush used in 1988 to ``scare out the vote nationally'' by using the Willie Horton [Born August 12, 1951] ads that frightened White voters away from Democratic candidate Michael Dukakis that year, a former governor of the state of  Massachusettts... [Horton was a Black male, and a convicted felon at the time. While serving a life sentence for murder, without the possibility of parole, the convict was the beneficiary of a Massachusetts weekend furlough program. He did not return for the furlough program and ended up committing assault, armed robbery and rape.]  This ``mistake'' [Dukakis granted the furlough while he was Governor of Massachusetts] ended up fueling the Right Wing victory for Bush that year as Bush used a vicious attack ad that placed the blame for Horton's behavior squarely on the back of the Democratic candidate for President--Dukakis.] * A copy of the actual winning Bush ad--that many Black people found degrading and racist--is not included in the research material on Wikipedia--at least that this reporter could tell. * Much of the information contained in the above paragraph was culled from Wikipedia, the Internet Encyclopedia.

Bush [H. W.] won 426 electorial votes to Dukakis' 111 and handly defeated Dukakis in the popular vote, winning 53.4 percent to Dukakis' 45.6 percent.  Bush [ H. W.] was able to successfully label Dukakis as ``soft on crime.''  A corney picture of Kukakis looking rather silly and out of place in a military tank didn't help matters among more pro-military voters for the Democratic candidate either. Bush [H .W.] had a shining military record that I am sure he touted that year.

This article is still being researched and written at this time [February, 19 2013 1:035 A.M.]

Stolen Treasure

The Stolen Treasure of Tutankhamun

A few humble words from Brother Tracy C. Gibson…..

Recently I had the good fortune to visit the objects that White, British archaeologist Howard Carter and his crew ``discovered’’ in Africa in 1922. The objects will tour the world again and are starting in the United States, in Los Angeles. Of course I am talking about the famous Tutankhamun exhibit from Egypt, Africa. I was swept through the exhibit from Africa quickly and without fanfare. As expected, the exhibit was stunning, colorful and worth the 20-plus years I had waited to find time to see it. (I missed it when it was in D.C. and New York City some time ago—just too busy trying to save the world to take time to stop and smell the roses..) Also, as expected, the exhibit was presented in as un-African a way as possible. No African music, few African faces. Even few Arab faces!! White Europeans have again managed to pull Egypt away from the continent of Africa and Europeanize it!!

One thing I did learn from Professor Ben while I heard him speak at Ohio State University in the late 1970’s is that the culture and all its trappings moved UP the Nile from the lower parts to the upper most parts. It began at the base. The Nile itself, moves up and so to did the culture of the area. It always has and most likely always will. Therefore the Nubian and other African Cultures at the base of the Nile served as the culturally rich root of what we all know was the most advanced culture in ancient times. (No the Egyptians were not ancient astronauts as we have so foolishly been led to believe!!) It all began at the base of the Nile. We won’t talk about who stole what or from who. Is that really important… The fact that the culture flowed UP is not mistakable or refutable or deniable. The face of Tut himself has full lips and a rather large nose. These are NOT European traits. His face looks distinctly African and non-European to me. Yet, National Geographic, the exhibitor, chose to put a photo of a White boy on the back of the major book they sell depicting the precious items from the exhibit. The photograph is a reconstruction of what ``they’’ feel Tut looked like. This, I feel, is an affront to all the little Black boys and girls who will see the exhibit. Again, on our land, our history is erased. I hope and pray that all who attend the exhibit when it finally gets to Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute in 2007 after 20 years will keep this in mind. Otherwise, please enjoy the exhibit and read about YOUR history!!!

Solutions: Sometimes even great treasures are better left alone if you are not going to tell the truth about origin, race, color, ethnicity and history. You distort history when you take racial credit for something that isn’t really originally of your race.

The Power of LOVE...The Power of Being a Positive Thinker.....

The Following Article was written by Brother Tracy Gibson some several months ago and is revisited here on December 11th, 2012 {Tuesday} for youR enjoyment, information, healing and consideration..... .

The Power of Being Black...... And Loving It.....

By Brother Tracy Gibson

Not enough of us, as Black People, really enjoy or understand the power and glee of being Black and really relishing in that fact. The fact of Blackness that cannot be changed... Not enough of us understand that politically, one of the best things in this world to be is a Black Person, and specifically and especially, a Black American at this present particular time in History........

Why do I say this? It has to do with moral and ethical leverage. We are a people who have historically suffered, but overcome. Who knew, for example, that when the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. was killed on April 4th in 1968 that He would become an international--if not an intergalactic moral and ethical star--a compass from which other moral and ethical leaders the world over would be compared to and that King would be appreciated and studied by school children all over the world for decades to come. April 4th, 1968 was a sad day and at the time it looked as if we would never survive the day and get past the riots and the pain of such a loss--Let alone flourish and become some of the most imitated people [artistically and for our political planning, training, tactics and techniques] people on the planet. You might think that other people, especially some White People, really hate us, and some of them do. The haters are a very small minority. Most Whites just don't understand us and will never see the importance of understanding... [Not even with a Black President in the White House right now at the beginning of 2013 and on until the beginning of 2017....] But some of them, the White People, have tried for generations to do away with us through starvation, unemployment, lack of economic opportunities for our small and moderate sized businesses and by putting us on the front lines of their wars--or even actual using extermination through forced sterilization of our women. [There is even the Tuskegee study that killed several of Our Black men through disease experimentation with STD's].. This is history, I'm not making this stuff up. Yet we have survived and flourished as a people and our numbers have remained steady. [Certainly our quality of life has recently suffered with the economic down turn and the loss of jobs and economic clout, but there is always hope on the horizon.] Much of our strength has come from Doctor King who has taught us, along with hundreds and thousands of other community leaders and activists, Elijah Muhammad, Kwame Ture, Angela Davis included, other teachers, civic and community leaders, just plane parents, pastors, doctors, writers, historians, visionaries and others in our community who have dedicated themselves to the community and our children and our children's futures--these people have given us strength... Our strength and resilience has also come from our sheer ability to read and teach ourselves and each other about the problems we face and the truth about our history and the sheer insidiousness of the system we work and live with.

I say we have leverage because we are able to take our place as we exist in the world today--including our significant historic place in history--and pry open the minds of other people--Latin People, Asian People, curious White People, Muslims, Arabs, Jewish People and even Gay, Lesbian, Transgendered People and others, and allow them to understand what importance our existence plays on the World Stage. [As I have said, several of these groups have mimicked our political tactics and strategies for their own benefit and we have to and need to start looking at this as a good thing and not be envious of other groups' gains. We instead, need to look at their struggles as also moving humanity forward constantly and consistently. I say this especially about the current advantages that the Gay and Lesbian and or Same Gender Loving community have made [with marriage equality and Don't Ask Don't Tell in the Military].  We have ethical leverage that many other people don't have or that other groups have not been able to pry free from the general public which has, until recently, remained steadfast in their rather Conservative and established political beliefs and their opposition to us [as Gay people].... I say we have leverage because of how we have suffered and how we continue to be victimized even through Affirmative Action and jobs programs and other things that often don't work because we have been left out of the planning stages of these projects and programs... Our past and present suffering gives Way to us holding the keys to this leverage. But I don't, as our Pastor has said, I don't want us to be seen as victims. We have to surpass victimhood and see ourselves as heroes, champions and the leaders of tomorrow. It also has to do with self-love, self-respect and our constant and consistent desire to want to see ourselves move forward as a people. Block the hatred, and the negativity and move forward. BUT SELF LOVE is KEY!!!

What I really wanted to briefly discuss today is Black LOVE and how we gain so much from loving ourselves and our people. When we are proud of another Black person's achievements we have a real gift right there in our lap... When we are jealous we have something deep inside that needs to be dealt with..... Chills go up and down my spine as I write this because this is such a powerful thing that is right under our noses, and many of us understand the depth and magnitude of what I'm describing here. There is so much power, importance and fortitude in Black LOVE--of one's self and one's people and one's community. It is a secret weapon that allows us to experience a beautiful colorful prism through which life is seen anew, discovered a new and lived with new meaning, depth and girth. Being in LOVE with your people, and I mean just about ALL Black people, is a gift that you can really only give yourself if you were either raised with LOVE in your household, or have read enough and healed enough and appreciate Black people through your own personal expectations and your own personal colorful prism. Like me, you may have been filled with so much self-hatred, anger, frustration and self-pity that you experienced a series of emotional upsets and setbacks that required therapy over an extended period. Even so, the healing, once it comes, flows like the mighty NILE river UP to Egypt from Nubia and has lasting and greatly positive benefits. This is largely how I came upon feeling this love for my people and myself and truly loving myself and us. This LOVE has helped me achieve my own potential as an individual Black person, and has helped many of our other Brothers and Sisters achieve their own great and massive potentials as Well.

So, helping build self LOVE, a LOVE for our people and respect for other Black people and LOVE for our achievements, is a gift you can give your children and grandchildren, your neices and nephews, and is a gift that Will last and you and your family will reap a bountiful harvest, a bountiful table, from that gift for generations to come. Sometimes this ``gift'' comes in wolf's clothing. I have a friend, I won't tell you His name, He lives in a rather squalid situation. He is a hoarder and He needs a lot of work done to His home. He has helped me through many difficult times and is a LOVER of Black people, but He won't and can't seem to prioritize His own healing process and get that house together and Himself together. This is a mental illness. It is nothing to be ashamed of. I myself have had to struggle with mental illness--depression and bipolar ism. This requires serious intervention before He will get himself able to extricate himself from his present circumstance. Most people let Him go and feel this is His business. He is a grown man, let Him be. I tried that for 10 years, but there has been no change. I did something drastic a few weeks or about a three months ago. I took some shirts away from Him--away from His House--and put them in the cleaners. I told Him I would not give them back until he changed his circumstance and got some help. He was very angry and frustrated with me. This thing I did has changed our basic relationship which one of enabeler and victim. I was enabling Him to be a victim.  He has not fully forgiven me and We don't have the same friendship we had before. My contension is that the people who just let Him slide around in His sorrow and pain--which was reflected in that sorry house He was living in--they are NOT real friends.  If you LOVE a person you want to see them be the best they can be.  Not live in sorrow and pain.  Even if it means you have to bend them a bit to help them see how to heal. So for now, I call Him once in a while, but I have begun to see my own limitations as a person with no skills much as a Doctor or a psychologist or a psychiatrist to really do much. I made some phone calls, but that didn't seem to really reach any conclusions at this point either at this point.  I have my own stuff to work on so I'm going to call once more on this coming week, but I basically have to work on my own issues and let that alone. I'm NOT allowing myself to stay suck in the muck and mire of self pity, victimization, dispare and anger. I'm pulling Myself UP. This pulling up must be a mighty thing for me. To the untrained naked eye I am just another Brother in the neighbrohood, but I've spent years training my mine and discovering the Power of reading, theropy and positive thnking--even though I have a REAL tendency to think negatively. I can and do turn that around. Sometimes the medicine of healing has a bitter taste. The ``Other'' in me--the ``Other Black Man'' who has been cold and hungry and left out Himself knows I can change MY situation.

I hope you will understand the importance of this short article and how deep the feelings of real, authentic caring and LOVE are. It is NOT easy for some people to say they LOVE someone, because they were not brought up that Way. This article, writing it, has been a healing process in itself. I have been deeply hurt by another Black person {I have healed from it and learned with the vital help of a therapist over an extended period, as I have said. I never thought I would have gotten so many benefits that have kept on coming. You might need to do some healing yourself. You may have been or come up against a parent, an intimate partner, a stranger, a friend, another relative, an uncle, an aunt, a step-parent or a grandparent or a Brother or a Sister who hurt, mistreated or abused you, or you might have abused others. To really experience life to the fullest you must heal from that pain you felt or even the pain you caused others. The person who abused you MUST be forgiven for you to move on. It doesn't matter if the person who abused you is alive or dead. You have to find the healing POWER and forgive and move on... Write them a letter and say you forgive them, even if you onlt mean it half-heartedly... GOD Will know what you are trying to do and meet you half Way. He Will not meet you when you want Him to. It may take a week or a month.  Put the letter in your Bible or other religious book. Otherwise you might find it hard to re-direct your life and move your life in the direction you want it to go in. If you find yourself addicted to food, drugs, sex, alcohol, or something else you need to work on that. Get some professional help. Talk to someone who can help.  Read the section in this BLOG about getting help. Don't wollow in your pain. This is what I have done. Read the section about pornography and know you are NOT alone. I have MY own struggles. The gift of mental. Spiritual and emotional healing is a great one and more of us as Black people need to understand this gift and help heal other Black people on a very deep level. But first WE have to heal ourselves. My sister says that if Black people only got mental help and therapy for REPARATIONS it would do us all as Black people a world of good. I have taken 35 years and healed.  That is why you can go Down Town in Philadelphia and spend $1,500 at Macy's Department Store and think nothing of it when there are no Black Departments Stores in Philadelphia and WE as Blacks people continue to be relegated to being a ``consumer class'' of people when WE should be part owners of the means of production so we can heal and regenerate wealth in our community; that is why some of us watch the news on TV about a football player murdering his girlfriend and Himself in front of Football Executives and some of us go on eating our Captain Crunch cereal [because some of us have been inoculated against the truth having any impact on us the way it should for human beings]; that is why some of us go on with the deep pain some of us feel inside and feel self-destructive and hateful towards others and refuse to get help and call it ``fear of the stigma of mental health healing'' and walk on with your pain in tact like a rusted iron dunce cap. It won't change until WE wawnt it to change bad enough to take the dunce cap off. Somehow you find pride and sanity as you watch ``The Simpson's'', on The FOX Network and think how nice it is that that little funny ``progressive'' cartoon has been on FOX [a Conservative network] for 30 years and that is just lovely. But I am here to question some of the sanity that goes into some of the thinking that is going on. Are you sane or have you adjusted to insanity?

When you have started on the Healing Path, you will find refuge and LOVE with other Black people who have also healed. When you have started on this Healing Path, you will find yourself able to talk more frankly and honestly with other Black people and tell them how you really feel and how glad you are that there is a GOD and a Jesus and that He has his hands over your life in a good Way. You will not mask your feelings, with too much marijuana or drink or blow or alcohol or cocaine--you will be able to have more open and honest relationships with your family members, LOVED ones and that someone special will appear or reappear in your life and you will be able to have that long term healthy relationship that you always wanted, but could never figure out why you could never achieve this and had to be alone for decades....

If you have NOT seen ``Flight'' with Denzel Washington I strongly suggest and recommend you go see it. It Will be out on DVD soon. It is about an airline pilot who is so cool He thinks He can ignore a cocaine and alcohol habit. But reality checks in with Him. This film is, like just about ALL of Denzel's films, it is well-acted, finely directed and sticks to your soul and memory like a good chicken and greens and apple pie dinner sticks to your ribs. Don't miss this film. It is a wake up call. It will help guide you UP a path of leadership and healing and better mental health. If you pay close attention and don't continue to medicate yourself with food, un-needed medicine, alcohol, blow, cocaine, sex, hate, resentment, money and silly TV.

You, if you heal, you Will have that better, stabler, healthier relationship as you heal. I don't care if you are 16 or 96, you will be ready when GOD says you are ready. It is never too late to start the Healing Process [the HP]. If you don't have the money for therapy or if you have bought into the silly ``prejudgements'' about therapy don't let that stop you because you can find your Way to the self help section of the bookstore or library instead of buying new trains or going to the movies to see another comedy, or having rugged sex again. You can start on that Healing Path [The HP]. This all includes me also, even after 35 years of therapy. Don't think I think I am exempt. This is how you weed the negative crap out of your life. And stop handing power over to the negative. You see, I no longer believe in the devil or sin, but that gets into another article. I can tell you this. I take the ``V'' out of the middle letter of the Devil's name and I turn it into the word VICTORY for myself and my people and your people--not for him to beat us up once again. It is that simple. Malcolm X said BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY--I had to steal that ``V'' from that little Devil--you don't think he just gave it to me do you?........................................................I had to make the Devil powerless by taking his v away and changing it into a lasting and positive V for Victory for myself right now and in the future....

If you don't want to go to the book store and the library and go to the self-help section go to your Barber and your Pastor and talk it out, or a relative or  a significant other, but don't let things fester Like a raisin in the WHAT!!! Thank you Langston Hughes.... and Loraine Hansberry....fester inside like that football player did. You see the results there... Go with Abandon. Open you heart and your Spirit. Stop with the excuses, the self medication, the alcohol and over sexualization the self-lies. I am NOT saying don't be gay or a homosexual. I'm a homosexual. BUT stop lying to yourself. Stop hiding things under the rug. Do you actually think GOD doesn't know about what you have done and are doing? Do you actually think your church members don't know? The word Radical is what I am. People don't like that word. I am a radical person. I was put here by GOD to rip the wounds open so they can heal properly. This is therapy.  I LOVE my people... You might NOT believe it, but this is a fine Way to bring about healing. There is a 900 pound gorilla at church at The Unity Fellowship Christ Church of Philadelphia and He is there every week. He is indifference, cattiness, pettiness, greed, hatred, self-hatred, anger, resentment, selfishness, stupidity, grief and silliness. He is at every church in Philadelphia. He is really a Big Gorilla. One can be a political Black man and not feel persecuted. It is all throughout the Bible that such people will be protected and have a long life.  It is time for this animal--this 900 pound gorilla--to go the way the evil one who is missing his ``V'' went because the good ones among us stole his victory and Will be experiencing it very soon--ALL the positive victories We have ALL worked for for a long, long time will be coming our Way... Our Pastor tells us every Sunday...

Start Editing HERE Later TOday TOda is February 16, 2013 [Saturday]

When you confess to your Pastor, your uncle, your aunt, your parents, your Brothers and Your sisters you will feel a new light a Bright Hope light burning inside you... You know what it is that is bothering you. You can't put your finger on it because the pain is too much. If you can't put your finger on it, try putting your finger on the feeling and talk to someone in your family or among your friends that your trust. An uncle or a Pastor. You will be giving yourself the gift of LOVe. You will be giving yourself the gift of Wellness wholeness, solitude, peace, self-worth, serenity, self-love and more stable thinking, a calmness... You will find it easier to make decisions and think through things properly because you will have an Angel on your shoulder and GOD in your pocket... the de il will melt like yesterday's nightmare... The decisions you make will be clearer, more accurate, better thought and through, more forthright, and more level headed. That means you too Carlos. I wish your LOVer could come to church with you once in a while. You have been a shining light for me and I LOVe you and I LOVe the Gay couples in our church.... Our church members will find themselves acting in reality NOT the fantasy way they saw last night on ``666 Park Avenue,'' Thanks Vanessa Williams, but don't give me more of the de il I'll just have to steal some more ``VICTORIES'' from that little fucker..you will find yourself becoming a leader, not a follower. No matter what age you are. Gandhi said something like ``Encourage the People and the Leaders will Follow,'' and as you know, King studied Gandhi. The more honest you become with yourself, Sissy, the more able you will be to see yourself as a leader. Your opinions will be sought after and you will insist on living in a cleaner environment Bruce, and you Will enjoy surrounding yourself with people who are about something positive and forward moving instead of people who will be unnecessarily critical, nonconstructive in their criticism, negative and who want to hold you back and ``WE'' back as Black people. You will burn new paths in life instead of follow others like lost sheep and GET BURNED by others. Just stat by selecting one of the books from my book list about healing and helping the world to be a better place. In no time you will find yourself turning off the TV and reading book after book after book. Remember I LOVe you and I want to help. We can work through this money thing and NOT having a new church building. We have shoes. we have socks--thank you McKale--that was a gift of words that will forever give back to me--the healing process..... I want the best for my valued Brothers and Sisters. Write me at: BLockBoi75@Yahoo.Com

and I'll send you that book list over e-mail. I Will show you a whole New Way of healing, growth and financial prosperity that you never knew was just around the corner, just across the street or just around the bend in life. I want you to LOVe yourself and our people. It is a gift that keeps on giving--forever.

Dear Corporate Heads at Christian Singles:
I hope you are having a good day. I went on your web page and was typically disappointed as a Gay or Same Gender Loving Christian, that there were no categories for men loving men or women loving women. This is typical of traditional Christians. You have a natural tendency to put yourselves above everybody else, when this is exactly what Christ Jesus DIDN’T want people to do and is what he never did. You have a tendency to judge people when this is exactly what Christ Jesus DIDN’T want us to do as Christians. The homophobia in the Christian Church is due to such judging and I was put here on earth to help expose the hypocrisy.

I am a Christian, but also a Polytheist**==which I will explain later}… If we believe He {GOD} didn’t make a mistake, we have to believe that we should have an open mind and face the outside world with an open mind. I have a strong faith in Christ. {One time after church we were feeding the Homeless and I was said to be giving them too much food out to the Homeless. One of the ministers said there will never be enough for the rest of the people if you give out that much food. The funny thing was I was trying very hard to say that I have ``faith’’ that there will be enough food for everybody because I knew the people were hungry and wanted food and needed food. There is talk all throughout the Bible about abundance and faith—how could there possible not be enough food to give these poor decent souls enough food. } But I held my tongue. As it turned out, I was right, there was food left over and people could have had more on their individual plates. I had actually had more faith than the pastors who wanted to serve less food and ``ration’’ the amounts. I knew in my heart that this was wrong when there was such need among the people in line to get the food {among the so-called Homeless… .} The problem was that I didn’t know how to express my feelings and verbalize my feelings at the time. I was strong in my faith, but I was fearful of being seen as disrespectful or critical of the church and the Pastors, so I held my tongue—I should not have done that... I have since learned better. {I had a lesbian friend who helped train me politically and she always wore a button on her bag or shirt that said simply-- ``Question Authority’’ I think, Betty Gains, that was her name, was talking about ANY and ALL authority. You have a right to question if you feel something is not right or correct in what you are hearing and feeling and seeing each and every day. It is your duty as a Child of God and a follower of Christ and as a North American to question and challenge what you know is wrong. Wrong among the Church. Wrong among the leadership of our schools and other institutions. Wrong among our Government leadership. {For example how could we have possibly just had a Presidential election and the word ``poor’’ was never, hardly ever spoken. Everybody talked about the Middle Class. Well, that’s nice, but NOT everybody is in the Middle Class or the Upper Class. There is a growing number of people in our culture and our society who are poor and falling through the cracks that are increasing in size. There are more such cracks and there seems to be more in the making in the future.{We have to work to turn this around and take an active role in helping our poor people and our country. This is OUR country--it doesn't ONLY belong to the rich and the privilidged and the White}... This is the 500 pound gorilla that went all the way through the current election without a peep. [By the Way our President is Black, as I am, but I didn’t vote for him because he finds a way to support war and lies every day. He is Drone bombing and killing the children and women of Pakistan each and every day and spending millions of dollars to do so even as the raw power of our Nation is being curtailed by GOD in favor of more democratic ``people power’’ influences that is bubbling up from the Grass-Roots. Very few in the media have confronted the President on this. As a Christian and a real polytheist I must and do confront him….]

As a Christian you are probably conservative. Christ was NOT a conservative. He was very radical person and a very radical being and HE wanted people to think differently from their traditional Hebrew beliefs in GOD. I was sent here to do something similar to what Jesus did—to reveal the truth… To be fair and NOT judge people, but to help people find a New Way—unlike even what it said of the New Day in the Bible. My feeling is that being a so-called ``Christian Conservative’’ is oxymoronic—how can you want things to stay the same—like conservatives do--when things are so wrong and messed up and unequal and unbalanced and when so many people are being hurt and killed the way things are right now? This is illogical, racist, homophobic, unbalanced and it is creating hatred, havoc, instability and resentment. It is time for such things to stop and for a New World to e born NOW. As the rich clutch onto their funds and refuse to invest in cities and people who are starving for jobs, basic nutritious food, clean water, infrastructure improvements and decent housing—things will have to change in a revolutionary and drastic Way for people—the masses—to get a hold of these basic items that will bring stability and decency throughout the world... People have a right to these things as decent human beings. You don’t have a right to keep these things from them. As the Black, the Latin, the Poor, the disabled, the females, the homosexuals, the transgendered people, the Arabs and so many other groups have been left out of the decision-making process to a large degree in Our Country, North America, for so long, we end up with a country and a lot of institutions [like the Church] that are NOT sensitive to these people and these people end up making a majority of our Nation. The Church is just another of these insensitive institutions, as I have mentioned. [Anytime there are parts of the Church that don’t allow women to be ordained, discriminate against Gay and Lesbian people, and where young boys and young girls are being molested by the Popes, the Bishops, the Pastors, the Prelates, and the Pontiffs and the reverends {Boy that was a lot of P’s} such as the Catholic Church--there is a problem. A REAL problem. A BIG Problem. Something is out of sync, out of kilter, off center, out of whack, mixed up and just plain old wrong!! If you include the 30 % of White males who usually vote along more Progressive lines, I think you begin to see what a problem the Republicans were having around November 6th, 2012 in North America this year during the election campaign and the results we have. This is why the Republicans LOST!!! Our institutions, including the Church and the many institutions that surround the existence of the Church and profit from that existence {such as your organization the Christian Singles Group} needs a major overhaul. You need to stop telling lies. You need to stop living in hypocrisy. You need to stop holding yourself above everybody else and telling people you have a direct link to GOD when all you have a direct link to is hatefulness, lies and deceit. The Church { and I’m talking about the Baptist, the Pentecostals, the Mormons, the Muslim Religion, the Jewish Religion, the Seventh Day Adventist and all the rest including the unwholesomeness that is taking place among even traditional indigenous religions in Africa and Asia and Australia and elsewhere that are hateful towards gay, bisexual, transgendered and lesbian people-- and they have other issues also} they all need to take a real long and lasting look in the mirror and face the fact that they have been and are being un-GODLY and being judgmental and being hateful, discriminatory and being against the true freedom and true equality we say we really value as people living in a democratic system. Living before GOD with fairness, decency, high ethics and good moral standards in very possible for Gay, Lesbian and Transgendered People, but I never hear Christian Pastors say that….

I love the Holy Bible, but it is a document that is 2000 plus years old. It is time we realized that the concept of sin itself was and is used to make people conform, through guilt, to certain behaviors instead of think positively and proactively for themselves. Thinking for yourself is more powerful…. EVER!!! Having a for heterosexuals-only Christian dating service is an old has-been concept and idea that needs to be thrown on the ash heap of society along with the crank-up car and Gumby. They had there place in time, but it has passed away forever.

Letter to Secretary Kathleen Sebelius

September 1, 2011 [ Thursday ]

Secretary of Health & Human Service

The Department of Health & Human Services

200 Independence Avenue, South West

Washington, D.C. 20201

Ms. Kathleen Sebelius

Dear Secretary Sebelius:

I am a connoisseur of gay adult video. Before you throw this letter away, let me tell you that this letter is no joke and no hoax. I am also a Black community activist and a political organizer. I am deeply concerned about the current content of Adult Gay Pornography. When I watch it, It is not only to get sexual gratification and titillation. I am also watching because I am concerned about the content that is being legally distributed in the United States and around the world in gay porn. Sometimes, even though the film says all ``models & actors’’ are above the age of 18 sometimes they look to be UNDER legal age. I have advocated that ALL ``actors & models’’ utilized in these films be above the age of 23. I can’t get a single so-called ``decent’’ North American politician to even have the courage to write me back on this issue. Are they all under the influence of and on the payroll of the Mafia? Is that why no Republican or Democratic politician will even begin to take up this issue to protect our young people?

My feeling is that being in Gay porn or ``any’’ pornography is like being a slave. You are begging for your next dollar or your next job, you are paid next to nothing, and you have to make your next film to live. There seems to be no way out unless you die from HIV or AIDS!!! It becomes a trap and a lifestyle—not just a way to make money. There are a few stars who get into the production end of the business such as Tiger Tyson. I assume they are making a decent wage, but most of these so-called ``stars’’ are making next to nothing. Meanwhile some very main stream characters like me are getting their rocks off while watching the films. And of course the producers of the films are making money hand over fist. Back in the 1980’s it was estimated that pornography in the U.S. was responsible for more income than the THREE MAJOR NETWORKS COMBINED!!! That’s billions of dollars and the ``business’’ has only grown since then. It seems unfair and wrong, but there is a lot about the world that is unfair and wrong. That, however, doesn’t mean we should sit ideally by and do nothing about it!!!

But there does seem to be something that can be done. Can’t government regulate the production of Adult fair enough to ensure that people under the age of 23 DON’T MAKE THESE FILMS? That doesn’t seem like too difficult a thing to do. There is also a big market for child pornography; S & M films; and other fair where the subjects are beaten, abused and / or humiliated. Shouldn’t government at every level be trying to put a stop to this also? I feel you should and I will be sending this letter to media, major opinion leaders, and my politicians to try to make ``something’’ POSITIVE happen….

I think one solution is to have more films produced that talk about and depict sex as something wholesome & constructive, and depict real intimacy between two people. Such films could be constructive in nature and helpful for legitimate couples—gay or straight—to reach a greater level of intimacy in their monogamous relationships. I think such films would be a help, not a detriment to humanity like Gay and Straight porn, in its’ present formation is.

Tell me what to do. I’m at your service. I’m expecting a large grant for my parent corporation [ Brother Tracy Gibson & Associates, INc. ] soon and we want to do some things to contribute positively to humanity & society. Maybe you have some ideas. One thing we want to do is have a major Conference on Sex and Sexuality in the Black Community. We have slated it for 2013. We feel there are a lot of myths about Black sexuality that need to be exploded; there is also a need to distribute positive and truthful information; and create an atmosphere where more truthful information can honestly and forthrightly be talked about in a safe atmosphere, and in a positive and honest manner. Calling people bad names just because of their sexual affiliation or orientation; kicking Gay children & gay youth out of the house because you ``hate’’ them or don’t understand them; accepting high levels of HIV & AIDS; and victimizing and brutalizing women and people because of their sexual life style should be things thrown on the ash heap of society & history—NOT THINGS READIALLY ACCEPTED IN 2011 & 2012 AND MOVING FORWARD!!! I await a positive response from you…..

Sincerely,

Universal, Producers of Babies

Office of the President and CEO

100 Universal City Plaza

Universal City California 91608

Dear Career Executives, President and COEs at Universal:

I recently [just today] watched your delightful film BABIES [from 2010]. I got the film out for Free at the Philadelphia Free Library and discovered it to be tenderly filmed and both funny and touching. By the Way, I am an independent, non-paid [at this point], consultant who works in the fields of media, education and Public Relations. I wanted to make some comments and assessments that I hope Will be helpful in any and ALL future film ventures you take on into the future.

I want to tell you why I’m taking the time from My busy Day to even write you about Babies. First, there is my cousin Marie. She is now gone, but Marie Wilmore Nelson, my oldest living First cousin REALLY, REALLY, loved Babies. She was the mother of two children [Iola and Kim] and a grandson [Tyler], but the world’s Babies were hers’ . She loved to see them splashing in water in the bathtub or in the beautiful blue and turquois ocean, running around on the kitchen floor, playing with toys, eating nutritional and healthy food, reading good and interesting books [as they got older], being of good and even robust health, and just being the great little children that Babies can be and usually are, when cared for and treated properly... Then there was my Father. He loved Babies also. He was very mentally and emotionally abusive to me as a child, but I have long forgiven Him for that. In His later Days He was thrilled when His assistant and Health Care Aid came by with her Nieces and Nephews. He adored the little ones and they adored Him. [He had long since gotten over the abuse I had suffered and I think it had more to do with His fear of never having enough money and His thinking that one Day He would be what He called ``under the bridge’’ or ``homeless.’’] Dad, Mr. Charles Saint Clair Gibson, died on July 10th, 2012, and never got to see the film Babies that He had requested to see. That is another reason Why I checked the film out of the Philadelphia Free Library—in Honor of Him and His Legacy—even though I have a very, very busy schedule each and every Day…..

One thing I noticed about the film was that the Producers used traditional or tribal babies and their mothers mostly in Africa. There are traditional societies almost ALL OVER the planet. For some strange reason movie and TV producers only seem to find such traditional and tribal families who are living inside the African continent. There are such societies in other parts of the world including Brazil, The Philippines and Venezuela. While I found the film to be joyful and touching and I especially liked the original ditty [music] used creatively for the opening of the film by composer / writer Bruno Coulais—I would have liked to see a more modern African family depicted in the film. Somehow European Filmmakers forget that there are literally hundreds of cities In Africa that are inhabited by millions of healthy people—people who don’t have flies landing on them every five seconds like clockwork and people who are NOT starving, suffering from diseases like malaria and AIDS. Africa is a bustling metropolis with modern, state of the art factories; modern, sustainable corporate facilities; and The modern African Family—including wonderful African Babies and children—spearheading a new and politically sustainable movement to drive into a fabulous, exciting and rich future that Will be the envy of the world…. Such cities as: Johannesburg, South Africa; Windhoek, Namibia; Kinshasa, Congo ;Douala, Cameroon [Where, according to an ancestry research firm, My Family roots are from—on My Mother’s side]; Maputo, Mozambique; Luanda, Angola; Libreville, Gabon; Lagos, Nigeria; Harare, Zimbabwe; Accra, Ghana; Lusaka, Zambia; Abidjan, Ivory Coast; Dar-El-Salaam, Tanzania; Monrovia, Liberia [a Nation that the grandfather of a relative of mine [on my Father side, but through marriage founded]; Nairobi, Kenya [The Nation where the President of the United States’ Father was from]; Asmera, Eritrea; Tunis, Tunisia [the granddaughter of a mentor of mine was named after this Nation]; Freetown, Sierra Leone; Kampala, Uganda; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Cairo, Egypt; and last, but NOT least, Dakar, Senegal. Of ALL these hundreds of cities, you choose a small traditional African village to film a traditional tribal family and their Babies. I thought certainly You could have at least included a more modern family from Africa as you did with the Chinese and North American families. I am not knit picking, but I just cringe at some of the distortions there are in images of African people throughout the world. I don’t think that criminal filmmakers like Respected Producer – Director [in some quarters] Tyler Perry understands how he emasculates and belittles Black men every time he puts on a dress and goes on films that Will be shown as truth and reality around the world. Film stars such as the Waynens [who have a sadly so-called comic horror film out very soon] are also guilty of the degradation and robust exploitation of the Black and African image. By the same token, Babies is a distortion because you forgot the splendid houses, Real Estate and People of modern Day bustling Africa. Showing only the so-called primitive African Family and village may have been a great backdrop for dramatic effect, but it certainly lacked the impact of visual fairness and reality so desperately needed in ANY and ALL depictions of the African Content and Her beautiful People…..

While the Filming and Production qualities were obvious great, I have to ask if you had ANY people of color on your production team? If so, somebody wasn’t doing their job Well. If you need such qualified people of color—actors, musicians, technicians, directors, key grips, special effects people, etc., for your future productions, I am sure our company, Brother Tracy Gibson and Associates, Inc., can help you find them. Regardless of what I think, Babies showed a cinematic celerity that was sublime and superb. I only wish Dad and Marie could have lived to see it. Please call or write if you need any staffing additions of People of Color, especially Black or Latin in ethnic background, in the future. All the Best Wishes for You in the Future,

Peace, LOVE and Blessings,

Brother Tracy Gibson…

yes

I've heard ``NO'' a hundred times. Maybe even a thousand time or ten thousand times. Every time I hear it the stronger my resolve gets to one day soon hear that resounding and positive ``YES'' that will make my day, month, year and FORWARD so worth while. All the effort will have been worth it.
If the ``Yes'' never comes, please know that God and the Creator and the Ancestors have already put together a Path for at least part of what I'm doing to be passed on to the younger generation--if they are interested.

We can't force anything on anybody to do anything. All we can do is offer the information and expose the young people to the positive information we are composing, researching, constructing and reconstructing. It is up to them to accept or reject it, Build on it and act on it as they see fit....
So, let loose with your ``NO's,'' your ``NEVER''-- I am a man of Peace and Non-Violence... I know for sure that GOD has a different Plan than ``NO!!'' It may take time and positive thinking, patience and concentrated effort, dedication, focusing and hard work, but eventually I will hear a clear and resounding ``YES'' and I am already to move FORWARD from there.....

Brady...

There has been yet another rampage of gun violence in Colorado. This time in a crowded movie theater at a ``Batman'' Premier. I won't go into the details. Suffice it to say, if we as Black people gave just $5.00 a year to either the www.BradyCampaign.Org or started our own anti-gun advocacy group {There may be one, I haven't done the research as yet}..... We could make the National Rifle Association {NRA} a thing of a past or at least an organization that is basically a Toothless Tiger because we would, as a people, be armed with the truth about what the facts are on this issue. The endless violence that occurs in our country is shameful and it wouldn't have to happen if we stood up and did something about it besides read the horrible news in the papers and went back to work the next day. I will give my $2.00 to the Brady Campaign in October, when my budget will allow it. What are you going to do? If 200,000 Black people just gave $2.00 once in their lives, that would be $400,000.00. Believe me the Brady Campaign could do a great deal of work with that money. They could advocate for better fairer gun laws; actually get positive and progressive legislation passed; and pay for a positive ad campaign to bring up the level of public awareness. I am too lazy to do the research to find out of there is a Black group that works on researching Gun Laws for Black people, so let me know if you hear of any. Comments on Inter Racial Relationships....

On Interracial Relationships…

The selection of who one chooses to love is a very personal decision. Sometimes , personality wise, total opposites attract. Sometimes different races of people end up attracted to each other. While I have personally almost always found myself attracted to men of the same race, other people have not. Some people find themselves attracted to people of the race other than their own.

Regardless of their station in life some people try to hand down some type of decree that says ``thou shall not cross racial lines when choosing an interpersonal partner or relationship.’’ While some people find this idea bone-headed and or pig headed, others live by such a decree for their entire lives. . A person, it seems, can hand down such a decree for there self and try to live within those bounds for there self, but to try to dictate this for others is ludicrous. People will find there self confounded time and time again because others are going to want who they want not who you would like them to want—regardless if the person in question is a close relative of yours such as a parent or child. To try to make such a personal decision for someone else just is not fair, no matter how much you would like to see ``racial purity’’ in your family or among your friends.

It is funny for me to make that statement because for myself, I choose to almost always stay within the Black race for the person I choose to spend intimate time with. [By the Way I think such choices are very personal and that each person must be considered on His own merit. I choose NOT to be intimate with three or four men in a short time. I Will date men one at a time and choose one and stay with them intimately for a number of years. Now that I am 56 years old, this is easier to do as I have boiled off some of those hot sexual forces. Even at my age however, I still have a sex drive, but I try and usually succeed at not allowing such drives to control my life and daily actions.]

There are certain races of people who have groupings among them that have cultural traditions that include racial profiling when it comes to ``choosing’’ mates for children. These traditions often date back thousands of years and are very hard to go against—sometimes even impossible to go against. Such traditions are found among some Africans, East Indians and the Chinese, to mention just a few. One of the oldest and most popular love stories in Western Civilization is ``Romeo & Juliet.’’ It speaks of how family hatreds are bore out when love goes against tradition. It is a Classic Example of human conflict between families [the Montigues and the ?] that centers on Young LOVE…

Maybe GOD created LOVE to make men and women happy (and Same Gender Loving people also) and to make the process of procreation more workable. The fact that some people choose partners outside of their racial grouping can often complicate things for families and bring out the worse hatreds imaginable. I fully understand how, on the other hand, some families want to maintain the family lie and only allow certain people, sometimes of the same race, to be with certain members of the family—the young people looking for mates. I think We have to have an open mind on this.

One thing is apparent with this question of interracial relations. You have to consider the station a person is in in life; what income level they are; what their education level is; their physical makeup; their personal hygiene habits; how they think about the world; do they see the world through the eyes of oppressors and oppressed?; do they themselves have an open mind; what do they want from an intimate relationship; do they also want a business partner? These issues are important and should NOT be thrown to the wind when selecting a mate or close intimate partner, no matter what race the partner is. These considerations need to be taken into consideration even if a family or a group such as a church is considering who to choose for an individual.

Because I am 56, I still have traditional values like wanting the person to be of a certain age: 32 to 64, for example. And I don’t want someone who I have to do a lot of work with, even though I myself need some more work, even after a lot of self-work and self-healing on my own part. [For example I need to lose about 35 pounds and be a little more confident.]

This article is somewhat complete, but is still evolving.

ALL IN THE FAMILY...

Today, January 27th, 2013 [Sunday] I was watching an old DVD of All In The Family. Like most early, late and moderate-aged Baby Boomers, I was an avid watcher of this ground-breaking 1970’s show that also was a brake-out with ratings and viewers. The celebrated Producer – Director Norman Lear, developed the show which starred Jean Stapleton; Rob Reiner; Sally Struthers and Carroll O’Connor. The program was a Root-Show for many off-shoots like ``The Jefferson's,’’ ``Good Times,’’ and ``Maud.’’

Included in the editions I watched this morning was the first meeting of Mike {Reiner} and Gloria {Struthers}, who definitely didn’t like each other at first meeting [the program reaches back in time to 1968 to their first meeting]. The two later warm UP to each other and end up embraced in each other’s arms after impersonating Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. I strongly suggest church members and friends watch a few episodes of this Classic Example of what TV used to be and What it needs to be again: Socially conscious; funny, lively, witty; intelligent; thought provoking; and well written. By the Way this old DVD is available at the Free Library of Philadelphia [at no cost] and is especially worthy of watching for old cash-strapped people like me who don’t have cable TV. Mo Later…

All About Brother Tracy...

                       About The Author

Brother Tracy Gibson’s legal name is Tracy Charles Gibson (He was named after actor Spenser Tracy by his mother in 1956). He was born and raised in Philadelphia and now lives back in Philadelphia after losing his home in New Castle Delaware to foreclosure on November 8th of 2011. He was educated in the Philadelphia public school system and went on to attend The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where he received a B.A. degree in Journalism and Public Relations. He minored in Black Studies. He worked for 13 years as an editorial assistant at TV Guide Magazine in New York City and Radnor, PA. He also worked for a short time for the Philadelphia Tribune in Philadelphia where he devotedly covered North Philadelphia. He attended graduate school at Temple University where he studied Communications and Journalism under a Scripps-Howard Scholarship, but he never got his graduate degree. He left TV Guide in 1995 and never looked back. In 2002 he generated enough support from the community, family and friends to start his own business (Public Relations, Marketing, Education and Research, Community Advocacy and Adsvertising) at 38th and Lancaster Avenue in the Powelton Village section of Philadelphia. After a year and a half he had to move into his basement in New Castle, but plans to branch out once again very soon in the Philadelphia area.....

``A Grassroots Criteria for Liberation: Writing in Wet Cement,'' is his new BLOCKBUSTER book, due on February 9th 2013.… He has many expectations for it and has worked hard on it. His father, Mr. Charles Sant Clair Gibson, is now deceased, but before His death had supported him with ideas and some financial help along the Way as has his only sibling, Mrs. Aziza Gibson Hunter of Washington, D.C. He has been a political advocate for the economically disadvantaged, the Black and the left out for over 35 years and has worked for many political organizations in the Philadelphia area. Brother Gibson has also worked on political campaigns including the election of Philadelphia’s first Black mayor (W. Wilson Goode) and for his former State Representative, Vincent Hughes (Who is now a State Senator for West Philadelphia). He wrote for other publications such as Male Box Magazine, Au Courant and The Philadelphia Daily News (Guest Opinions). He presently writes for his own Blog: ``The Politics of Real''; Access at: http://thepoliticsofreal.blogspot.com] and ``The Leon Williams Journal'' He is hoping to parlay his successes with the current book into a regular opinion piece for a major publication. His younger niece, Thandiwa Gibson Hunter who now attends school at Spelman University in Atlanta, once told him that ``success is in the eye of the beholder.'' This quote is something positive to hold on to in the tough times, the former reporter says. You can reach the Writer/Journalist at BLockBoi75@Yahoo.Com

Brother Gibson has several other projects in the works besides His books including: The Black Millionaire's Network [Which is a financial network and education tool to help Black people of all income levels build up their finances by investing in progressive stocks; saving money; supporting Black stores and Black businesses; and preparing to buy a home or income property]. As President, Founder and CEO of The Black Millionaire's Network, Brother Gibson feels stabilizing Black families and institutions is the best and quickest Way for Black people to realize their positive, constructive and forward-moving dreams asperations and goals; send their children off to college; and buy property instead of losing property. We want to see more Black people utilizing ALL avenues to stabilize their businesses; acting in a more direct, honest and professional manner, especially financially; and thinking of Greening their businesses while planning for a more stable and sustainable future.

Another of His projects is known as ``The Knowledge Hut On-Line Store'' which is dedicated to bringing positive, proactive, educational and constructive products before Black youth especially, to help them build on strong family ethics and values that are hopefully centered in a positive household. If such values are sometimes lacking in the home, WE hope and believe our products Will help reconstruct and move those values ahead in our young people's minds and help them live better lives where they interact positively with peers and older adults, parents the church and Mosque, guardians and siblings. WE eventually want to have stores in several areas and cities across the Nation, but will start with an on-line store centered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania...

Visit Docucare for Great Documents Service and Professional Care.....

When I had a car I used to visit Docucare, a Black Copy Service in North Philadelphia [900 North Broad Street], quite often, but I haven't been there lately.  I have seen them, however, still in very good shape as I have passed by on foot or on the bus lately.  They have a good record of doing very nice fliers; great copies; and cards.  They can do card fliers for not too expensive as well.  Give them a call at [ 1.215.235.8740] or visit the 900 North Broad Street office near Broad and Popular in North Central Philadelpia.

My Response: This is the typical response I get when sharing information and ideas and asking for employment, partnerships, and or a job as a consultant with several established companies in the U.S. [Maybe I need to try outside the country in places lke Brazil, Cuba, Venusuila, in the Carribean or on the African Continent!!]  All I want to do is create opportunites from Black youth, especially males, but not only males, for my company with various projects and make a decent living for myself. [I am willing to settle on a salary of $50,000.00 a year, which is a bargin considering how hard I work and what I do as far as Advocacy, Education, and Research and Public Relations. I am NOT sure WHAT GLEF is, but as yuo can see the name on the letter they are saying I sent to Lucasfilm Ltd. is The Philadelphia Youth Network.  I have placed the original letter I sent to Lucasfilm at the bottom of this letter. It is UP next.

October 4th, 2012 {Thursday}
Ms. Stacy Holland,
President and CEO
Of; Philadelphia Youth Network
714 Market Street
Philadelphia, PA 19106

Dear Sister Holland:

I hope you and your family are doing fine and well. I want to make some suggestions for your COrporation and your foundation to invest in. My Corporatuon, which is called ``Brother Tracy Gibson and Associates, INc.,'' has fouor components I am interested in getting funding for and I am hoping you can help me because we are very much interested in the same thing--helping Our Youth!!!  I am hoping we can work in partnership on some of these projects because I am very much geared towards helping our youth and young adults.  I really think they need help and direction and I feel very strongly about this, as I am a survivor of sexual and mental child abuse myself and have grown a Big Heart for Black Youth especially.  I hope you will remember me, I am the tall Brown gentleman who spoke last at the WURD Forum at the Franklin Institute last week.  The four components I am working on which I want to talk with you about are as follows:

1} I have three books I Really, Really want to publish. The first book is entitled ``A Grass Roots Criteria for Liberation.'' This two parts of the same book {Part 1; and Part II} and is dedicated to Black Youth and there issues.  It also relates to Latin youth and any other poor, disenfranchised and or disabled youth who need direction, help in thinking more clearly, and a better attitude about life. It will also help many youth who are identified as Same Gender Loving or Gay in their sexual orentation, as it contains much of my life's story as a Same Gender Loving Black man and a political activist in the Philadelphia region for about 35 years. It is designed to build better values for the people in the community including responsibility for the decisions the make; more respect for the people in the community including peers, the elderly, their parents, teachers, guardians, police and firemen; more dignity about themselves; more interests in Black History and Blacks in antiquity; more interests in business, finance and becoming an entrepreneur; more interests in education and learning etc.  This first volume is designed and told by telling my own personal story and interjecting political analysis and old family stories with life-lessons, celebrity profiles and reviews of artistic events included.  I need $40,000.00 to get these books published. The third book is entitled: ``Let the Children Gather--A Fantasy World of Real Life Poems,'' It is a book of poetry that reflects the high level of anger, frustration and resentment that is ramped among Black male youth at being blocked out of the economic and financial progress they see going on in their community and at seeing what little progress they are allowed to make often become suppressed, stolen and ignored. I need $20,000.00 to publish this book. 2} I want to start a mostly Black, but partially multi-cultural security firm to help protect the growing and valued Black infrastructure across North America protect itself from racially motivated negative violence and other security problems such as theft and other forms of destruction.  I especially want to help Black businesses right here in West Philadelphia, South West Philadelphia and North Philadelphia.  I am in contact with a Miss Stephanie White who has a successful security company in Dallas, Texas {1.469.230.1849} Address: Post Office Box 181947, Dallas, Texas 75218. I have also been in touch with a Mr. August Scott of Brooklyn, New York who worked several years for the Metropolitian Museum of Art as a security guard. I plan to hire both of them as consultants as I begin the process of starting my own local security firm. {You may know the story from the 1920's on Tulsa, Oklahoma where what was called the ``BLACK WALL STREET'' was destroyed after a racial incidentsparked a White Supremist Riot.} We cannot afford to have our valuable Black infrastructure destroyed in a matter of days when it took us 50 years to build it up.  {Not only were some 350 Black people killed in Tulsa, but hotels, restaurants, large stores, funeral homes and other types of businesses owned and operated by Black people were also destroyed and burned to the ground.} We need $150,000.00 in seed money for our security firm to be centered and headquartered in Philadelphia.  We plan to hire former police officers, firemen and fire eomen, veterans coming back from the two wars our Nation has been involved in; and young people who desperatly need full-time and part-time employment in the Philadelphia region to work with us.  We will have training in Philadelphia and a full, state of the art, Green, environmentally friendly building for our headquarters.  3} Another aspect of our corporation is called ``The Knowledge Hut Business Plan and The Knowledge Hut On-Line Store.''  This store will provide CD's, DVD's, Movies, Tee-Shirts, Greeting Cards, Posters, Books and a few light and healthy snack foods for young people to purchase and for their parents and guardians to buy for them and sometimes, to enjoy for themselves.  Grandchildren, nieces, youth, children, cousins, second cousins and nephews will find delight in the products and will also be gaining an education in the strong values and ethics that are so lacking in our communities.  The ONLY Products to be sold in our stores will be those products that uphold high s=community standards and values; represent positive social values and positive knowledge and understanding of complex political issues. The products will not just be thrown at our yuong customers, our parents and grandparents and guardians, they will be specially selected to build again, positive values in our young people such as responsibility, reliability, punctuality, obeying the law, business ethics, not bully or smoke, how to start businesses in a tough economy and a tough business environment, and how to negotiate out of problems and conflicts instead of using violence and intimidation to solve problems--a lesson our own national government and many corporations could use to learn.  Many of the products we are planning to sell we will produce at our own factory and we will hire some of the youth to get paid good living wages for their efforts.  {We are starting as an on-line store to avoid the tremendous cost of building a modern, state of the art, Green factory right in North, South West or West Philadelphia at first, but we don'y think it will take too long before our dreams come to life and our hard work pays off.} We did test marketing of greeting cards and Tee-Shirts from April 2006 to September of 2007 at 3819 Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia, Penn 19104, when we had an office here in Philadelphia's Powelton Village Section.  We will be Progressive and stress education and knowledge building in every aspect of what we do. Our whole corporate effort is aimed at helping stabalize and support our youth.  Our books will not be selected to titillate and sexually excite {such books will not be sold by us}, but our books will be selected to educate, inform, build self-help and self-survival skills as well as build self-esteem, self-respect, family values and other positive traits for the Black family to build from.  They will also help stimulate intellectual growth while helping develop good study habits, good hygiene and neighbor-building skills as our young people learn how to get along with other races, other religions and other types of people who are different from them.  We are seeking $450,000.00 for ``The Knowledge Hut Business Plan'' and ``The Knowledge Hut Stores.''  {You can see our full Business Plan by going to Google: inputting Brother Tracy Gibson: and clicking on ``The Politics of Real'' This is my Blog.  You will see a section that says ``The Knowledge Hut Business Plan'' 4} Another component we are planning is our Talent Agency--NOT YET NAMED..... I remember once taking a tenent {I have been a Landlord and Property Owner and Property Manager for 28 years}. I took a tenent to try-out for an international Star-Search Program and found a line wrapped around the Hotel on City Line Avenue for 4 blocks!!  I have people in my church and in the Black community who I know who want to partner with me for this aspect of the business.  My church's name is The Unity Fellowship Christ Church of Philadelphia, which is part of a network if some 30 churches across the country.  I have family members who work in the entertainment business who I am sure will also help with consulting on this matter.

That is it in a nutshell!!  I hope you can help.  I have 35 years of dedicated work behind me as a community organizer and a community activst.  {Please see my Resume (Under Brother Tracy Gibson's Resume) enclosed or on the Blog--http://thepoliticsofreal.blogspot.com/

My Corporate EIN number is 27-0145705

I have contacted several Billionaires about my ideas including: Warren Buffett ad George Sorros... But neither of them has contacted me as yet.  I hope yo will give me a chance, because what I want to do will work towards the betterment of our entire country in the long run, as our Black youth stop being seen as a major ``problem'' and start to live, productive, viable and proactive lives as solutions to our facing head on the problems of sustainability, economic self-sufficiency and energy independence. The more we do to help our youth become viable and productive on the frint end, the less we will have to spend on the back end for prison space, food and shelter for them as ``vagrants and homeless people, and in the court system, detension homes and the prison system.  Our Youth deserve our attention and our help as well as our direction, care appreciation and LOVe.  I thank you for your consideration.

Post Script: I deeply appreciate the work you have done and contine to do through the various programs you have founded and supported. GOD BLESS YOU!!!
