a simple message.



Dear Good Brothers and Sisters:


Even as the White gay community has seemed to have gotten HIV and AIDS under control, the Black community's numbers have still reportedly been steady and even increasing among Black women.  It is important that we remind each other, in a loving and positive Way, to use condoms, get tested if you find that certain someone and want to have children together (if you are heterosexual); or if you have any symptoms whatsoever; and have limited sexual partners... Anything else is asking for trouble.  Being totally controlled by your basic sexual desires is a problem for some people and should be something that one would seek help for through therapy or counseling remember it is best, in my humble opinion, to get a Black therapist, because therapy itself is Euro centric and has drawbacks that can better be explored by A Black psychologist or a Black psychiatrist than someone of another race. . It is NOT racist to want  Black health care professional -- it is taking care of our own best interests as Black people.]  I just wanted to add my opinion to what I hope are voices of reason...  Brother Tracy Gibson…
